Throughout human existence, the question of purpose has remained an enduring enigma that captivated the human mind for ages. What is the purpose of living? This question includes cultural, philosophical, and religious boundaries, engaging individuals in profound contemplation. I am seeking to understand the many ways in which individuals find meaning, fulfillment, and direction in a world full of dreams and aspirations that reside within the human heart, because the search for purpose remains an ever-present, fundamental pursuit of human life.


To begin our exploration of the purpose of living, we must first acknowledge the diversity of perspectives that exist on this question. Franz Kafka once said, that: “A first sign of the beginning of understanding is the wish to die.” Some contend that life's purpose lies in the pursuit of happiness and personal fulfillment. In this view, our journey on Earth is an opportunity to experience joy, fulfill our desires and learn from the challenges that life presents. Others argue that life's purpose is beyond personal gratification and should be more consentrated towards the betterment of society and the world.
