People have pets for different reasons, especially the elders. Firsly, some of them have not a family hence sometimes they feel lonely. To have a pet may be is the best thing because they have a chance to take care of somothing. Secondly, to be with an animal is better than watching boring films on Tv. Thirdly, there are plenty of the old people for whom walking is a very difficult task. However, they have to be indoors and they are able to listen, for instance, to the songs of keeping birds and, if they have a parrot, they are in a position to teach it talking. It would be interesting for elders and birds. Finally, to have a pet for the old people is a very good chance for forget their problems caring for animals.
