I live in Siauliai. I was born in Siauiai, and my parents live in siauliai too. Siauliai is the fourth largest city in the country. It is an indurtrial centre with a reconstructe former nulitary airport, Zokniai free economic zone and the yongest dioce istituded in Lithuanian. To observe its 750th anniversary; the city created an ornamental Sunlock Square, which has the new Siauliai symbol erected on a 21.8m column-the bronze marksman. It recalls the first mention of this location iin 1236 pertaining to the total defeat of the Crusaders in the battle of Siauliai. The Dangyvenes Cultural History Museum-Reserve opened recently in the district reflects the development of culture from ancient times. This includes the complex of Raginenai archacological monuments the home-life exibition at Keboniskes Village with the 19th homesteads still lived in an economic-techical collection dating back to the early 20th century, and the redecorated Burbiskes Manor. The Hill of Crosses was honoured by cross from Pope Iohn ppaul II who visited Lithuanian in 1993.
