Some famous athletes and entertainers earn millions of dollars every year. Do you think these people deserve such high salaries?
Nowadays famous athletes earn more and more millions of dollars every year. In my opinion, they really deserve such high salaries as they are paid.
To start with, not everyone can become basketball star or win the gold in the Olympics. Only some talented and toiler people can achieve such results. So, they must earn really not three or four times bigger ssalaries than common accountant or manager.
Another reason why I am for high salaries is that if athlete wants to win some competition, he has to abandon many things that are allowed to others. Everyday athlete must do everything by strict calendar. For example, he must train more than once a day. In addition he cannot eat everything he wants too.
On the other hand, the majority of athletes earn sometimes to big sums. For example, some years ago NBA star MMichael Jordan earned thirty millions of dollars per season. In my opinion it is too much even to this athlete.
To sum up, I think that famous athletes are worth earning ...
